Built by Ithai Benjamin and Alex Abreu SYNTHINETIC is a kinetically powered noise box.

Challenged to create an object that runs solely on energy provided by the user and/or the ambient environment, we used Gearhead DC motors, capacitors and analog circuitry to create this self-powered noise box.

SYNTHINETIC has been published in the 2nd edition of the book "Handmade Electronic Music: The Art of Hardware Hacking" by Nicolas Collins.
